Job Title: Regional Sales Manager

Salary: £55,000.00 per year

Introduction: We seek a talented Regional Sales Manager to bolster our UK team. The ideal candidate will cultivate and nurture business relationships within the Energy and infrastructure segment.

The primary focus will involve the sale of software designed to control and monitor substations and DERs (Distributed Energy Resources) to a diverse clientele, including network operators, OEMs, system integrators, and end-users

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue business opportunities aligned with the company’s key industries (Energy, Pharma, Automotive, Food & Beverage, Manufacturing), particularly emphasising the Energy sector while supporting our manufacturing division.
  • Leverage products to conceptualize and deliver tailored solutions for clients.
  • Manage and foster existing customer relationships following organisational strategy.
  • Proactively generate leads and actively pursue new business avenues.
  • Present offerings to critical decision-makers, effectively articulating value propositions and driving conversion.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date sales forecasts to facilitate informed decision-making.
  • Engage in frequent travel to meet with clients and prospects.

Essential Experience

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in technical sales, preferably within the electrical industry. Experience in automation and software sales is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in electrical engineering concepts and practices.
  • Possession of a valid driving license.
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in a dynamic sales environment, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction.
  • Curiosity, enthusiasm for learning, and a keen interest in staying abreast of technological advancements.

Additional Information:

  • Comprehensive training on the Zenon software platform will be provided.
  • Commission-based compensation structure in addition to base salary.

Work Environment:

  • On the road, frequent travel is required to meet with clients.
